French Onion Fondue

Aga's make the best caramelized onions

I do this at the end of the night or first thing in the morning before work. Add your diced or sliced onions into a pre-warmed pan with a little oil. Mound the onions into the center scraping any loose onions off the sides. This keeps the onions from burning on the sides. Into the Baking Oven for 30 minutes. Stir the onions and mound in the center scraping any loose ones off the side. Repeat this as many times as time allows. I try to do it three or four times. Place the onions in the Simmer Oven with a lid on and off to work or sleep. When you wake up/get home remove from Simmer Oven, stir and back in the Baking Oven for 30 minutes. Repeat until nice and dark. Then follow the normal cooking instuctions.
