Hot Water for Dishes

I don't know about you but we have to pay for hot water. We keep a tea kettle on the edge of Aga by the simmer plate. When I need hot,well warm, water to wash a couple of pots and pans I use the kettle water. When I wash herbs and lettuces I like to use warm water like a babies bath. I use the water from the kettle.

When I know I am going to be making some pots and pans dirty I start my prep by putting a big pot of water in the Roasting Oven so I can fill my sink.

Mopping the floor? Nothing works better than boiling hot water. What works better? That's right nothing. Take that Mr Soap Selling Man.
