Oven Seared Steak

Why not sear your steak right on the floor of your Roasting Oven?  I just wiped the floor clean and put the beef right on it. Five minutes a side gave me a nice medium rare on a steak about 1 1/2 inches thick. Let it rest and your good to go. The only downside is no pan to make a little sauce. Upside is no pan to clean up
